Robin Bose is the founder, chief engineer and designer behind Remote Water Solutions. Robin completed an eight-year Electrical & Electronic Engineering education including a five-year engineering apprenticeship before building more than twenty years of engineering experience working with companies including Hewlett-Packard.
Alongside his engineering career, Robin has maintained a strong connection with farming, completing an Organic Farming Certificate and operating his own small farm and pasture-raised poultry enterprise.
Remote Water Solutions was never intended to become a business. It began as an experiment to help neighbour John Duffy, a respected regenerative farming practitioner, solve the challenge of moving water around steep grazing land. Eighteen months later, after extensive prototyping, refinement and year-round field testing, that experiment has become a robust solar-powered pumping solution designed specifically for farmers facing the same challenge.
Every system is assembled in Donegal and developed with practical farming experience at its core.
